In a letter to bar associations on October 31, 2023, Chief Administrative Judge Zayas and First Deputy Chief Administrative Judge St. George announced that beginning on December 1, 2023. All New York State attorneys - those seeking admission and those renewing registration - complete their applications using the online system. If you receive your renewal reminder by regular mail, you will still have an option to elect to receive it that way. However, after December 1st, paper registration forms will no longer be included in the renewal reminder letters that are mailed to attorneys who do not elect to receive notifications via email. Attorneys that received a paper renewal registration form can still renew by mail using the paper form.
Attorneys will also be required to register for an online account in the system to renew, which will also grant them access to the other Office of Court Administration sites and services such as NYSCEF and eTrack.
