Improving Outcomes for Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Our no-cost uncontested pro se divorce program aims to serve low-income LawNY clients receive assistance in executing their pro se divorce pleadings and advice and counsel about the divorce process. Clients attend remote clinics using Zoom or receive direct assistance from volunteers.

Are you interested in earning CLE credits while helping your neighbors or their families? Volunteer for our Pro Se Uncontested Divorce Project!
Volunteers have the option of a range of opportunities from interviewing clients, drafting pleadings, provide counsel and advice and also meet with clients via video to provide instructions on the filing process and what to expect.
LawNY staff will provide training, templates for drafting, law resources and other tools as well as be available to provide support, assistance and client coordination.
